Jellyfish

From the Ash Blooms series. When I think back to the summers my brother and I spent at the beach, one of my fondest memories is of the jellyfish that we found scattered along the shore every time the tide went out. It was always a thrill to discover these otherworldly creatures, with their translucent bodies and long, swaying tentacles. As kids, we would spend hours inspecting them, marveling at their beauty and delicacy. Though they may be transient, these jellyfish will always hold a special place in my heart and my memories of those idyllic summer days by the sea.
