Cloudy Bay

 the first piece in my “Ash Blooms” series, is an evocative work transcending its circular format. The title has a double meaning, referring to the ethereal atmosphere captured in the resin and the artist’s father’s boat. This biographical detail imbues the painting with a deeper layer of sentiment.

The inclusion of the solitary figure silhouetted on the “beach” adds a subtle human element to the otherwise abstract scene. This figure, whether intentional or not, invites the viewer to contemplate their own place within the vastness of the natural world.
